Terms and Conditions - Wedding Giveaway Promotion

1. Introduction
1.1. This Wedding Giveaway Promotion (“Promotion”) is organized by Elysium Planning and Events (hereafter referred to as “Elysium Planning and Events”), in collaboration with participating vendors (“Vendors”), to promote the Christchurch Wedding Expo.
1.2. By entering this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Elysium Planning and Events, which are final.

2. Eligibility
2.1. The Promotion is open to all individuals who are 18 years or older and currently planning a wedding within New Zealand.
2.2. The Promotion is not open to employees, contractors, or family members of Elysium Planning and Events or any of the Vendors involved in the giveaway.

3. How to Enter
3.1. To enter, participants must have purchased a ticket to the Christchurch Wedding Expo 2026 and have liked and tagged someone on the giveaway post on Facebook or Instagram.

3.2 Winner must be present at the Expo during the draw to redeem the prize, or another winner will be drawn.

4. Prize Details
4.1. The total value of the prize package is approximately $10,000 and includes contributions from various participating Vendors. The prizes are subject to availability and are non-transferable.
4.2. The prize package includes, but is not limited to, the following contributions from Vendors:

4.3. The prize is strictly limited to the listed prizes only. No cash or alternative prizes will be offered in lieu of the listed items.
4.4. The prize must be redeemed by the winner only and is not transferable to any other individual or group.

5. Winner Selection
5.1. The winner will be selected through a random draw from all valid entries. The draw will take place on June 14th 2026 at the Christchurch Wedding Expo at 4pm.
5.2. The draw will be conducted under complete transparency and in compliance with New Zealand’s national regulations.
5.3. The winner will be announced on the main stage and must be present to win. If the winner is not present, another winner will be drawn.

6. Prize Redemption
6.1. The prize is subject to availability and must be redeemed within the terms and conditions of the participating Vendors. The winner must coordinate with the Vendors to confirm the availability of services, materials, and goods on their chosen date.
6.2. The winner is responsible for any additional costs or fees that may apply when redeeming the prize with Vendors. Any costs outside of what is provided as part of the prize package will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
6.3. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash, exchanged, or transferred to any third party.
6.4. Elysium Planning and Events is not responsible for any aspect of the service delivery by the Vendors, including any delays, cancellations, or issues with the services provided. Any complaints or disputes regarding the Vendors must be directed to the respective Vendor, and Elysium Planning and Events disclaims any liability in this regard.

7. General Terms
7.1. By entering this Promotion, participants grant Elysium Planning and Events and its Vendors the right to use their name, image, and/or likeness in any promotional materials related to this Promotion, without compensation, in any media format.
7.2. Elysium Planning and Events reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend this Promotion at any time, if necessary, due to circumstances beyond its control.
7.3. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform, and participants release the platform from any liability related to the Promotion.
7.4. Participants agree that they are responsible for ensuring their entry complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

8. Force Majeure
8.1. Elysium Planning and Events shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of this Promotion due to events beyond its control, including, without limitation, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, government restrictions, pandemics, or any other event that is out of its reasonable control.

9. Amendments to the Promotion
9.1. Elysium Planning and Events reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, provided such amendments are consistent with applicable laws and regulations.

10. Disqualification
10.1. Elysium Planning and Events reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, engages in fraudulent activities, or violates the terms of the Promotion. Any entries suspected of being tampered with or that do not meet the required criteria may be disqualified.

11. Publicity Rights
11.1. By entering the Promotion, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity related to the Promotion, including but not limited to interviews, photos, or social media posts. The winner’s name, image, and/or likeness may be used for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

12. Warranties and Disclaimers
12.1. Elysium Planning and Events makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, availability, or suitability of the services or products provided by the participating Vendors. Any warranty or guarantee regarding the products and services offered by the Vendors will be subject to the terms and conditions of those Vendors.

13. Entry Validity and Disqualification for Ineligible Entries
13.1. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or incorrect may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Elysium Planning and Events. Elysium Planning and Events reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not meet the criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

14. Limitations of Liability
14.1. Elysium Planning and Events accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any participant as a result of entering this Promotion or redeeming the prize.
14.2. Elysium Planning and Events is not liable for any failure of the Vendors to fulfill their obligations under this Promotion.
14.3. In no event shall Elysium Planning and Events be liable for any consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.

15. Privacy
15.1. Personal data collected as part of this Promotion will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Promotion and will not be shared with third parties, except as required for the fulfilment of the prize.
15.2. The winner’s name and other details may be used in future promotional material by Elysium Planning and Events and its Vendors, unless the winner opts out in writing.

16. Governing Law
16.1. This Promotion and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
